Cinder Block planter tutorial

handsoccupied.com has a nice tutorial on how to build a cinder block wall planter. The wall has some nice variety in placement and even has some cubby holes that I could see being useful for storage.

Small modular cinder block planter

This planter posted on martha Stewart's blog proves that even with a limited space, you can still enjoy the benefits of cinder block planters.  Materials to build a similar planter should run you under $10. Not a bad way to spend $10 and a saturday afternoon.

Cinder block succulent wall

J peterson design created this Cinder block succulent wall. This wall is quite large in comparison to some of the others and seems like it could be a good way to gain some privacy or division in addition to having a place to plant. Chicken wire and weedblock fabric was used for the bottom of the planters.

Potted's cinder block planter wall

This Cinder Block wall was created by potted. The blocks used are of the square variety which creates a slim opening for planting. The opening might be small for some, but I find it to be a little slicker in appearance than some of the walls that use the standard rectangular block.
